Richardson Texas Gobble Hobble 2007

In 2007, Central Health and Wellness organized and sponsored the second annual Gobble Hobble 5K Race & Family Fun Run. The 2007 Gobble Hobble raised $5000 for NYFC (Neighborhood Youth and Family Counseling) of Richardson, Texas.

Richardson Texas Gobble Hobble 2006

In 2006, Central Health and Wellness organized and sponsored the inaugural running of the Richardson Gobble Hobble on 11/18/2006. The event was a huge success with almost 400 participants. It succeeded in raising over $6,500 for Richardson Police Department charities.

a Wish With Wings

Since 2006 Central Health & Wellness has been a supporter of a Wish with Wings. Over the last three years Central Health & Wellness has donated over $6,000.00 to help make wishes come true for children in need.

a Wish with Wings, Inc. is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization that grants the Wishes of Texas children with life-threatening diseases. Working closely with children’s hospitals, child life specialists, and physicians our sole purpose is to grant the Wish of a child in need and bring a ray of hope and happiness into their lives during a time of sorrow and despair.

Since 1982, a Wish with Wings has touched the lives of hundreds of Texas children in need. With every Wish we grant, we are giving the gifts of memories, laughter, and joy made possible by the generosity and kindness of others.

Beginning in 2006, the Central Health & Wellness Staff wanted to show their patients how much we appreciated their patronage by hosting a "Patient Appreciation Day." On this special day the doctors donated their time and services for a $20.00 minimum donation with all proceeds going to a Wish with Wings. "This year we had a baby boom in our office with six of our staff about to become parents. It only seemed fitting that this year's proceeds should go to an agency that touches the heart of a child in need", shared Amber, Office Manager at their Richardson location.

Kid's Day

Kid's Day is an international event that provides health and safety information and services directed at the youth of our community. Various free health screenings as well as comprehensive identification packages were provided to the DFW community from 2001 to 2004.

Richardson Texas Fire Safety House

As a result of 3 years work, Central Health and Wellness was able to raise over $30000 towards the purchase of the Fire Safety House.

Wednesday's Child

As a result of our efforts Central Health and Wellness (formerly Central Healthcare) was able to donate $25,000 to Wednesday's Child.
